Outlaws vs Bayhawks 6/11/11

The Outlaws are finally back at home after two weeks of away games. This Saturday, June 11th, they will be facing the Chesapeake Bayhawks at Invesco Field. They’ve had a great run and are now the only undefeated team in the league.

It’s going to be an exciting match with the Outlaws seemingly steam rolling right through everyone put on their path. Strong offense, defense and good fundamentals are what’s going to take this upcoming game, and they’ve got them in spades.

The Bayhawks will be on their 3rd consecutive away game and the previous was their first loss this season to the Cannons. They walked away with a four point deficit in the final score of 17-13. The Outlaws beat the Cannons when they faced off earlier this season, but it’s hard to use that as a guideline because both teams were short handed.

Right now the Bayhawks are tied for second place with two wins and one loss. They are also tied for most championship wins at 3 with last years title. So to say the least the Outlaws are going to have to work for their victory.

The match starts off at 7:00 pm MT. I hope to see you there, but If you can’t make it in person remember to catch the action on Altitude Sports Network or ESPN3.com.

As an added bonus it’s Film on the Field Night, which means after your Denver Outlaw leave the field, you get to take over and watch a movie on the grass. They will be showing Back to the Future in honor of the movie’s 25th anniversary.  Click here to purchase tickets.

About Peter Thams

I have been involved in sports for most of my childhood and the love of activity has translated over into my adult life. Some of my earliest memories were of stepping up to the plate in tee ball and I continued to play baseball up until high school. In high school I wrestled as well as found a whole new passion when I was introduced to Lacrosse my junior year. I have been active in following both the Mammoth and the Outlaws since their inception in 2003 and 2006.
